Great Start to the Fall Conformation Season

I decided it was time to get Torro’s daughter Pimba (that I co-own) out to some shows this fall. So, after not entering the conformation ring since June, I entered Torro 3 weekends in a row, starting with the Bluegrass Classic in Lexington KY.  What fun we had!  At the Lexington shows, not one but two of his others puppies joined us for the weekend– one to show, the other just to romp and play afterwards.  Both the baby girls did well–and Pimba won her class one day. We had a blast at the beautiful KY horse park.

Showing just two weekends, Pimba earned her first 2 pts going Best Of Winners (BOW), in an entry just 1 bitch shy of a major (at the Music City Cluster in our hometown) and her sister Miranda got Reserve Winner’s Bitch once as well.  Torro finished 8 days of shows with 2 Select Dogs, 2 Best of Opposite Sexes, 1 Best of Breed and his first Group placement– being awarded a Group 2 by Judge Gloria Geringer at the Music City Cluster! We also got to participate in the Owner-Handler Series at 5 of those shows and brought home 3 OH Best of Breeds and an OH G1, G2 and G3.
